The PAGC Annual Spring Meeting will be held on Friday, May 4th, 2018 at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This meeting is being held immediately following the Philadelphia Genetics Meeting the evening of May 3rd, 2018 at the same location. Registration for the Philadelphia Genetics Meeting is included in your PAGC Annual Spring Meeting registration fee.

This event will be submitted to the National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) for approval of Category 1 CEUs. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) accepts CEUs approved by NSGC for purposes of recertification. Approval for the requested CEUs and Contact Hours is currently pending. If you are applying for CEUs, there is a $25 fee that will be collected either the day of the conference by check or online.
Reference the Pennsylvania Association of Genetic Counselors (PAGC) for a discounted rate of $172 for the night of May 3rd, 2018. This rate will be available until April 3rd, 2018 or until availability runs out.

Driving: From the North
Take I-95 South toward Philadelphia. Take the I-676/US 30/Callowhill St. exit (number 22) toward Central Phila/Independence Hall. Merge onto the Vine Street Expressway (I-676) and follow signs for I-76 E toward the Philadelphia International Airport. From I-76E, take the South Street exit (exit 346A), a left-hand exit, and turn right onto South St. at the end of the ramp. South St. will become Spruce Street. At the second light, turn left onto 34th St., which turns into Civic Center Blvd. The main Hospital building sits on the right.
From the South
Take I-95 North. Take the PA-291 exit (Number 10) toward Bartram Ave./Cargo City, following the signs for I-76 W. Merge onto Industrial Highway, which becomes PA-291E. PA-291E will later become 1-76 W. Take the South Street exit (number 346A) on the left and turn left onto South St. South St. will become Spruce St. At the second light, turn left onto 34th St., which turns into Civic Center Blvd. The main Hospital building sits on the right.
From the Western Suburbs (Chester, Delaware, Lancaster, Montgomery counties)
Take I-76E until you reach the South Street exit (number 346A) on the left. Turn right onto South St. South St. will become Spruce St. At the second right, turn left onto 34th St., which turns into Civic Center Blvd. The main Hospital building sits on the right.
Parking for visitors is available in the Wood Center garage. To access this garage, travel south (away from the Penn campus) on 34th St. past the main Hospital building. Make a right onto Osler Circle at the second light and proceed to the security booth. A ramp entrance to the underground Wood Center garage is on your right. The garage is open 24 hours a day. Elevators and stairs connect the garage to the Wood Center, which sits directly across from the Abramson Research Center.

Bike parking is available for users who supply their own locks. Bicycle racks are located outside of the Main Building, Wood Center and Abramson Center entrances. Bike parking is also available at no charge at the Health Center Garage on Curie Ave. PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION: AMTRAK:
Northeast corridor AMTRAK trains stop at 30th Street Station, which is about 1 mile from Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.

The Airport, Wilmington/Newark, Media/Elwyn and most Glenside Combined, Warminster and West Trenton trains provide direct service to the University City Station. From other Regional Rail lines, transfer free to the Airport, Wilmington/Newark or Media/Elwyn trains at 30th Street or Jefferson stations. Your train ticket is your transfer.
SEPTA city trains, trolleys and buses
The SEPTA Market/Frankford Blue Line (the elevated train/subway) stops at 34th and Market Sts. A 10-minute walk south on 34th Street or a five-minute ride on the LUCY Shuttle takes you to the Hospital.
All SEPTA Subway/Surface Green Line trolleys, except for the 10 trolley, stop underground at the 36th St. and 37th St. stations.
SEPTA bus routes 30, 40 and 42 run in front of or near Children’s Hospital.

New Jersey PATCO trains
Take the PATCO line to 8th and Market streets. Follow the underground concourse to the SEPTA Jefferson Station. From there, the Airport, Wilmington/Newark and Media/Elwyn Regional Rail lines provide direct service to the University City Station. Or you may transfer from PATCO at 8th and Market streets to the SEPTA Market/Frankford Blue Line (the elevated train/subway). Take the westbound train to 34th and Market streets. A 10-minute walk south on 34th Street takes you to the Hospital.
From the Greyhound Bus Station at 10th and Filbert streets, walk to the Jefferson Station at 11th and Market streets. From there, take the Airport, Wilmington/Newark or Media/Elwyn Regional Rail line to the University City Station. A taxi ride from the Greyhound Bus station costs about $12.

Head east on Chestnut St toward S 34th St for 0.1 miles
Turn right at the first cross street onto S 34th St for 0.4 miles
Make a right onto Osler Circle at the second light and proceed to the security booth. A ramp entrance to the underground Wood Center garage is on your right.
Enter the Wood Building; head to the 2nd floor
Follow the signs from the 2nd floor of the Wood building to the Main Hospital Atrium. You will reach a large staircase. Walk down the staircase and turn to the first corridor on your left toward signs for the Food Court.
Walk past the Main Elevator until you reach Stokes Auditorium, across from the Food Court.
Head east on Chestnut St toward S 34th St for 0.1 miles
Turn right onto S 34th St; walk 0.4 miles
Turn right onto Convention Ave. You will enter the Main Hospital of CHOP to your right.
Once in the Atrium, walk toward the Asplundh Inpatient Welcome Center by the glass elevators, then make a left and head down the hallway toward the Food Court, passing the Main Visitor Elevators.
You should see signs for the Stokes Auditorium.
